Erika is the best. Her food is always good. Even when you don't think you like something. Hers will make you change your mind ! And the pastries are perfect. As are the cookies. This is a 5 star restaurant. Every item is fresh and cooked to perfection. Share a table with others! You will make friends! Bought a pie here today.. love blackberries! What a pity they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.. the place is very small, i noticed three tables only, not sure if there are more tables on the 2nd floor.. while waiting for a pie, I saw soup, salad and fish plates, everything looked very tasty. Will definitely come here on Wednesday! If I had the means to fly to Nome, Alaska and eat Pingo everyday - I'd do it. I love everything about this place - the cook, the atmosphere, and of course - the delicious offerings on the menu. Simply said - this is my favorite restaurant in the world. No hyperbole. If you're in Nome - this is a must-stop, must-see, must-eat. Everyone was friendly and the food amazing. Fresh baked breads and cakes you won't want to miss.
